Services: Powers of Attorney

Many people now live to a greater age than they did in previous generations, and their personal affairs tend to be more complicated, and frequently they have acquired greater wealth.

With advancing years they or their families may perceive that they become less able to deal with their affairs. This is when, in certain circumstances a Power of Attorney, often an Enduring Power of Attorney, can be of assistance to the family.

The Power of Attorney would normally appoint members of the family to look after a relative's affairs if they become unable to do so themselves through physical or mental ill health, or if they simply become too tired to want to be bothered.

We give an expert and friendly service to elderly people who are concerned or who find themselves in these circumstances, and will advise fully and independently of the family in the making of an Enduring Power of Attorney and related matters.

If you are elderly, infirm or unable to get to our Office, we will be pleased to make a home visit to advise.
